The cove is supplied from two waterfalls, giving the appearance of someone crying. It is said this water is touched by magic and that the people of Faerie once strolled this beautiful haven. What is so picturesque hides powerful magic and tragedy, for legend tells of a Faerie's sacrifice here. 0 0 Rising Woods On the outskirts of Sidhe Tears lies a forest with monstrously tall trees. Lovers from hundreds of years ago carved their name on the tree trunks. These marks are often sought out by those interested in history. The oldest marks can only be found by creatures of the sky: no one can see them from the forest floor. Claimed by the Drusus Herd. An active volcano errupts every few years, killing of all new growth and once again covering the terrain in ash. 0 0 Ghostlands This abyss of sand lays near Ashen Cloak. Legend claims it was once swallowed by Heated Eruption and was warned against hosting life, lest the volcano rise to destroy it all again. The dead seem to gather here. The veil between mortals and the afterlife seems thin in places. Creatures avoid it due to eerie feelings of never being alone. The lost souls that haunt this area ensure no one receives a warm welcome. Some who face grave crimes are given the option to seek death or banishment to this desert. No one that has ever picked the Ghostlands was heard of again. 0 0 Withered Craig A narrow path allows fool-hearty beasts to travel here. A vast drop with spiked-shaped rocks that once served as an underwater cave now contains many creatures who slipped off and were speared. Rotting corpses and sun-washed skeletons lie below. The foul odor is heavy on the air, poisoning what foliage attempts to take over. Plants eventually wither, hence the name.
