Lucid is an play-by-post, liquid time, futuristic, semi-fantasy equine roleplaying game. There is no site-wide plot, allowing roleplayers freedom to plot between one another and create plots that incorporate everyone. In this way, Lucid a player-run site, shaped solely around the wishes of the players.
- Play-by-Post: The posts made by the players on Lucid shape an ever-growing and developing, dynamic plot on the site.
- Liquid Time: Characters on Lucid may be in as many threads at one time as they wish, so long as each thread occurs at different times in-game.
- Futuristic: Lucid is set in the distant future, after humans are all gone and somewhat magical creatures have been developed, such as Faeries.
- Semi-Fantasy: The characters here on Lucid are allowed to have unique markings and attachments (horns, wings, etc) to a certain extent.
